Charlo put her head on her paws and heaved a sigh. The waterflow flowed beside her and she stared as the water fell over the edge into the water below. She sighed again and stood up, doing various stretches before dipping her head to drink. As she lapped at the water she was aware of someone - something - else around her and she growled into the water, sending water ripples up her nose and she pulled away, sneezing. Her paws heated up, but she managed to control her temper quick enough to stop her from flying into a rage. She was annoyed with herself for being caught off guard. If this was a hunter she had to move, and quickly. She sniffed the air to test for any danger and licked her lips as she waited for the instincts to kick in. For some reason, she didn't have th eurge to run. She wanted to stand and fight. If she'd been caught off guard just then, then she might as well show she is a good fighter than run off like she really was scared.
Not that she was scared, of course.
Charlo licked her lips again growled. Why was she so stupid?

The light brown wolf had been stalking a bird, but, like he had expected it to, it had flown away. Kogane growled at himself. He was so hungry. And he hadn't found Bella yet. She'd dissappeared, and he was angry. Anger and hunger didn't mix well. Maybe a drink would help. He grumbled at himself as he walked towards where he knew the waterfall and it's lake-river to be. Kogane was just at the bushes near the waterfall, and it was then that he noticed a different wolf drinking at the water. He wondered if he should go meet them. He wasn't in very socialble mood, though. He watched them for awhile before deciding that he should either go now, or go say hello. He shrugged, and stepped out of the bushes. He was thirsty anyway. He stepped up to the water beside the wolf, completely ignoring the fae, and bent down to lap up the water.

Charlo saw the wolf out of the corner of her eye. As he approached raised her head in tail in time, instictively letting a low rumbling growl grow in her chest. She watched as he started to drink, and decided he was too insociable and calm to be of any threat to her. She took another lap at the water then stretched, grunting with a yawn before lying down, continuing like the he-wolf wasn't there. Eventually, though, her curiosity got the better of her. "Hello," she mumbled, her tail wagging slightly as she stared at him, not moving a muscle except for a slightly flitting tail.

Kogane paused while drinking, his tongue half-way out of his mouth. He snapped it back into his mouth silently, and watched his reflection for a moment before turning to look at the fae. "Hello," He said, his warm breath appearing before him as mist in the chill autumn air of the day. He wasn't very interested in talking to other wolves at the moment, but he could see that the she-wolf was curious. So he walked over beside her, close enough that his long fur brushed hers' as he sniffed her fair coat, storing her scent in his mind if he ever came upon her again one day. He was about to walk away when he had an idea. "Oh. Have you happened to see a white, with a black tail and ear, she-wolf, by the name of Bella?" He hoped in all his heart that she had.
